Secrets Never Told tells of two generations of families with epeated histories of marriage problems. Through out the book, ach of the marriages goes into the brinks of destruction but in he end it always remains in tact. The beginning of the story was low, but as the story continues, it becomes more interesting and suspenseful.Morgana and Erick are the two main character of Secrets Never Told and the story tells of how each of them must learn to live and love again while dealing with the decisions that have to be made. The events of the past take a turn for the worst leading into an eventful story full of past events that causes turbulence in Morgana's life.
End of story. For a moment I was hoping for a sequel.
This was a story well written and quite captivating. From the moment I started reading, I couldn't put the book down.
Once again, this was another page turner by Rochelle. Especially Uncle Julian's so called secret.
What I found most interesting was Katherine's Journal. Also, the way the story ended kind of left somethings to the reader's imagination.
I immediately changed my mind and felt that the book lived well up to it's title.
Morgana goes home to bury her mother and discoveries these wonderful diaries which gives her a glimpse into another side of her mother. I finished this book in two days. My girlfriend recommended this book to me and boy I'm glad that she did. These diaries also helped Morgana to come to terms with her own marriage to Franklin. I liked the way that Ms. Alers jumped back and forth from the present to the past which is not an easy task for a writer. Morgana meets a young man named Erick while in Salvation who helps her come alive again and in the process, Morgana realizes that everyone makes mistakes and that forgiveness is the key to heal open wounds. Which is not an easy task when one is confronted with infidelity.
Let me start off by saying that I love the book. Alers took addressing this topic was superb. When you think about relationships, you have to realize that relationships are not going to be perfect. And i think that the approach that Ms. I will derfinitely recommend this book to any and everybody I know. Good read.
I expected her to admit to her Uncle Julian after reading her Mother's journals that she knew who he really was to her. I couldn't put this book down. I enjoyed this story from start to finish, as I have all of the others stories written by Rochelle. She had the Perfect blend of characters to take this book to many levels of suspence and surprise. I found myself waking up in the wee hours of the morning BEFORE the alarm would go off just to connect again with Katherine on her quest to find herself after experiencing the loss her Mom and Marriage on the same evening and proving that most times you "HAVE TO" LOSE in order to GAIN. I could relate with EVERY Joy, Hurt and Triumph. Rochelle is one of my favorite writers and I would like to take this time to Thank and encourage her to keep up the "GOOD" work. I can't wait for the next book, but what choice do I have.
